Discover history with Wonder Homeschool! Our US History classes offer a unique and engaging learning experience for elementary and middle school students. With two classes available - elementary (grades 5 & 6) and middle school (grades 7 & 8), an accelerated class offering honors credit - students will develop critical and creative thinking skills through hands-on activities, small group discussions and more. With a maximum of 12 students per class, our program offers an intimate learning environment that will make history come alive. Plus, our simplified registration and payment process makes signing up easy. Sign up today, and you'll be billed monthly. Additional information on our scope and sequence can be found in Course Descriptions, but generally, our courses will cover: Elementary (5th & 6th Grade): August - September: Geography & Landforms October - November: Civil War & Slavery November - January: WWI & WWII February: Civil Rights April -May: North & South America Middle School, Honors (7th & 8th Grade): August - September: Antebellum America October - November: Civil War November - December: WWI- Industralization, Urbanization & Immigration January - February: The Great Depression & WWII March: Global Conflict & Civil Rights April - May: Modern History- Technology Explosion
