Science (Elementary & Middle School)

Service Description

Experience the wonders of science with Wonder Homeschool's two-day a week science course for elementary (grades 5 & 6) and middle school (grades 7 & 8) students. Our certified, passionate teachers bring science to life with creative and critical thinking activities, hands on labs and experiments. Additional weekly reading assignments are required for students for the middle school level. Our simplified, single registration provides for monthly, auto draft payments, making it easier to join in on the fun without the hassle of monthly enrollment. Specifics of the scope and sequence is available under the Course Descriptions page, but, generally classes will cover: Elementary Science (5th & 6th Grade): August - October: Weather Cycles & Systems October - November: Earth's Cycles & Changes: Rocks, Volcanos, & Earthquakes December: Magic of Matter: Elements, Metals & Magnetism January - February: Chemical Change & Digestion March: Cells: Characteristics of Plant & Animal Organisms April - May: The Human Body 7th & 8th Grade: August - September: Atmospheric Properties & Weather Systems September - October: Earth's Lithosphere- Rocks, Volcanos, & Earthquakes November: Earth Cycles- Water, Carbon & Nitrogen December: Magic of Matter: Elements, Metals & Magnetism January - February: Chemical Change & Digestion March: Cells: Characteristics of Plant & Animal Organisms April - May: Light & The Human Eye
