Our Vision & Goal
Our vision is simple - to support homeschooled, elementary children in Horry and Georgetown counties, especially gifted students without learning differences and twice-exceptional students (gifted with learning differences).
Our goal is to provide accelerated classes, third-party enrichment programming, and support services!
All of our offerings are intended to supplement your own homeschool experience.
We are not a school, we are not a co-op, we are not an accountability association.
We are, simply, a learning center for homeschool families with bright & quirky elementary-aged students.
The WOnder Approach
Imagine a school system that recognizes learning is natural, that a love of learning is normal, and that real learning is passionate learning. A school curriculum that values questions above answers…creativity above fact regurgitation…individuality above conformity.. and excellence above standardized performance….. And we must reject all notions of ‘reform’ that serve up more of the same: more testing, more ‘standards’, more uniformity, more conformity, more bureaucracy.
Tom Peter, “Re-Imagine”
We are located in the Mingo Center in Litchfield (Pawleys Island).
We're within walking distance to the Willbrook Boulevard biking/walking trail and the Waccamaw Library. Our studies frequently take us to picnic benches and outdoor space, including the turtle lake, behind our building!
