Odyssey of the Mind Club

Service Description

Join us in 2023-2024 as we partner with South Carolina Odyssey, a team based competition for creative thinkers, problem-solvers, hand-on collaborators, and outside-the-box brainstormers. We'll host two teams: 4th&5th graders, as well as 6th-8th graders, and each team can choose it's own problem from the Odyssey options: https://www.odysseyofthemind.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/2024-SYNOPSIS.pdf OM brings the classroom to life as students apply what they learn and combine it with their interests and passions to solve one of five unique open-ended problems in the area of vehicles, technical classics, structure, or performance. OM emphasizes teamwork, budgeting, time management, public speaking, and so much more! After local competitions, students may advance to state-, regional, and/or national competitions.
